Water-stopper,is formulated with calcium aluminate cement,gypsum and other additives.it is hydraulic materials with characters of fast seting.rapidly hardening,high early strength and slightly expansive.
Water-stopper is based on the properties of calcium aluminate cements.when gypsum and other additives is available,it can from expansive crystalline hydrate after mixing with water,that is ,hydrate calcium sulphoaluminate,and also called entringite(C3A.3CaSO4.32H2O),and the dydrate object can produce slightly expansive,which is in use for filling in cracks and holes to bring pressure stress with circumjacent object and the hydrate itself gets densification.so the materials in the link can not appear contractive cracks,meanwhile,this kind of material possesses the property of more rapid setting and hardening than aluminate cement,the unit of strength exerting is denoted by minute,so it possesses entirely the properties and conditions of rapid stoping leakages and patching cracks.

Usage and attention;
at first find the leaking spot or slot and chisel it to vertical bell shape.then clear away the sundries around the place.
pour one bag(2kgs) of the material and 0.6-0.7kgs water into a container and then stir them into plaster.
press the plaster with your hand or other object on the leakage direction promptly;keep on the pressing for a few minutes.usually,leakage can be stopped within 10 minutes.
after the leakage is stopped,ordinary Portland cement mortar can be used for the surface,and then 3 days maintain is needed.
water-stopper can be poured directly into leakage spot of pool or cabin,and then press it with your foot or other object on the spot for a few minutes until it gets hard.
draining method can be adopted in the situation of serious leakage slot.first,stop the upper part,and then stop the lower crack and finally the draining hole.
for stopping leakage of large area,the leakage spots should be found and stopped first according to the above method,and then plaster the surface with water-stopper mixed about 0.5% retarder.
the material should be stored in dry place,preventing from humidity and water.it should be depleted as soon as possible after the bag is opened.
water must be controlled strictly in order to avoid the grout too thin when mixing the material with water.
oozy water and accumulative water in the leakage spot must be drained away as much as possible when stopping leakage.
